The Professional Range of heavy duty slides manufactured from 6082 T6 aluminium and stainless bearings. Due to our standard manufacturing process of milling extruded beams, we can supply these slides in virtually any aluminium requested. Particularly suited to military and airborne applications where the right choice of materials affects performance. All of our ADTS aluminium slides are interchangeable with the steel DTS variants in order to give the engineer more flexibility within a modular design. This is a high quality, smooth, full extension slide with milled ball tracks for accuracy and a slight pre-load. There is a choice of surface finishes available. The bearings and end stops are stainless steel, providing a corrosion resistant slide. Supplied with a standard anodization, please consult our engineers for other surface finishes available. The ADTS-70 slide is designed for lightweight applications in wet environments such as fire truck pump carriers where steel slides corrode. The ADTS-70 with a 330kg loading over 600mm is suitable for vehicle mounted drawer systems where corrosion and weight is an issue. There is a significant weight reduction in a Fire Rescue Unit which has up to 32 drawers. This compliments our non-corrosive tilting drawer systems and handle locks. A single ADTS-70 weighs 5.44kg per metre.
