Over-extension (also called super extension) slides use an additional stage so the moving member travels beyond the front of the cabinet. This is needed when the load must be lifted from above, reached around a frame, or pulled completely out of a vehicle body.
Because the load sits far outside the mounting, over-extension slides must be designed for stiffness. FEDS builds heavy duty and super extension systems including configurations that carry more than 2,000 kg per extended pair, depending on the product and installation conditions.
